🍽️ Kitchen: Walls Down, Style Up 

The original kitchen wall was demolished to open up the space and create an integrated bar counter. This move not only improved natural lighting and flow, but also added a social element to the layout — perfect for entertaining or casual meals.

This bar counter kitchen design blends seamlessly with the rest of the open-plan living and dining area, maintaining visual harmony and functional ease.

The open-concept layout truly showcases the elegance of the modern kitchen design — though it wasn’t always this way. To achieve the spacious, seamless flow, the original kitchen wall was removed, creating a clear line of sight from the living area. At the heart of the space is a sleek bar counter with a black quartz countertop, offering both function and luxury.

To maintain a clean, cohesive look, all visible doors within the circulation path were concealed using grey “bomb-shelter” paint, allowing them to blend subtly into the background. a smart solution for compact BTO kitchen renovations in Singapore.

🛏️ Master Bedroom:

L-Shape Glass Walk-In Wardrobe, One of the highlights of this BTO flat renovation is the L-shaped glass door walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The small walk-in closet that has been artfully tucked into the corner with tinted glass for some measure of privacy, and to keep the clutter out of sight. Custom-built carpentry in walnut tones and strategic LED lighting give it a boutique hotel feel, while maximizing clothing storage in a compact footprint.

Wallpaper for the back drop was imported from Amsterdam.

​It’s a perfect example of how thoughtful design can enhance small spaces without compromise.As part of the bathroom renovation in this BTO flat, the existing wall tiles were overlaid with beautifully patterned Peranakan motif tiles, adding charm and heritage to the wet area. In contrast, the dry zone was given a clean, modern update with plastered walls painted in a soft dove-grey emulsion, creating a balanced and calming atmosphere.

To elevate functionality and aesthetics, the client chose custom-built carpentry for the vanity unit and integrated mirror cabinet, optimizing storage without sacrificing style. A built-in shower niche was also incorporated into the design — a sleek, recessed shelf that keeps shampoos, soaps, and other bath essentials neatly organized and within easy reach.
